مدينة مأدبا بعد ماجرى في العراق تحديدا بعد سقوط بغداد اصبحت العوائل العراقية تبحث لها عن ملاذ امن لها لكي تسطيع العيش بسلام، وبدأت تهاجر الى دول الجوار، و على وجه الخصوص الاردن حيث كنا من احدى تلك العائلات ،وبدانا بالتعرف على حضاراتهم ، مدنهم .. تراثهم .. واثارهم القديمه … مدينة مأدبا: جوهرة التاريخ والثقافة في الأردن . حيث تعتبر وجهة تجذب السواح بتاريخها الغني والفسيفساء الآسر والاثار القديمه وكرم ضيافتهم، تقع هذه المدينة القديمة جنوب العاصمة عمان، وتحتل مكانة مهمة في التراث الثقافي والديني للمنطقة. يُكمن جوهر جاذبية مادبا في فسيفساءها غير العادية، مما منحها لقب “مدينة الفسيفساء”. هذه القطع الفنية المعقدة، التي يعود تاريخها إلى العصر البيزنطي، من بين أشهر الفسيفساء هي خريطة مادبا، وهي خريطة رائعة من القرن السادس تأسر الزوار بتصويرها المفصل الرائع بصرف النظر عن كنوزها الفنية ، تفتخر مادبا بثروة من المواقع الدينية التي تجذب السواح وعشاق التاريخ على حد سواء. تقف كنيسة القديس جورج للروم الأرثوذكس كمعلم بارز، حيث تضم خريطة مادبا الشهيرة والصروح الدينية الأخرى مثل كنيسة الرسل، تعطي للزوار فرصة للتعمق في الأهمية الروحية للمدينة. بالإضافة إلى تراثها الديني ، تقدم مادبا لمحة عن الحياة الأردنية التقليدية، حيث تمتلئ الأسواق النابضة بالحياة بالحرف اليدوية المحليه والهدايا التذكارية المبهجة. يعد الانخراط مع السكان المحليين الودودين وتذوق المأكولات الأردنية الأصيلة أمرًا ضروريًا للانغماس في سحر المدينة وخاصة اكلة المنسف الذي يعتبر من اشهر الاكلات الاردنيه بالنسبة لأولئك الذين لديهم ميل للتاريخ ، توفر حديقة مادبا الأثرية رحلة رائعة عبر ماضي المدينة. تكشف أطلال الكنائس والمنازل والحمامات القديمة عن بقايا مجتمع كان مزدهرًا في يوم من الأيام ، مما يحافظ على حكايات العصور الغابرة. تتميز المناطق المحيطة بمادبا بالمناظر الطبيعية الخلابة. وإطلالات بانورامية على وادي الأردن والبحر الميت، وكذلك جبل نيبو الذي فيه مقام النبي موسى عليه السلام مما يجعله مكانًا دينيا مشهور وفي الختام تعتبر مأدبا من المدن العريقه باصالتها وتراثها وسكانها الطيبين الذين يلتزمون بتقاليدهم العشائريه الخلوقه حيث لا يسع المرء إلا ان يشعر بإحساس عميق بالرهبه والامتنان لفرصة استكشاف عجائب مأدبا /الاردن
